“To worship rightly is to love each other; each smile a hymn, each kindly deed a prayer.”
(Christian Science Hymnal, No. 217, Lyrics by John Greenleaf Whittier)
Sunday Services 10:00 to 11:00 am
We meet each Sunday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 to worship together. The Sunday service is conducted by two lay Readers chosen from among the members of the church congregation. It includes congregational singing, a time for silent prayer and the Lord’s Prayer, a vocal solo, and the reading of the weekly Christian Science Bible Lesson (see sidebar).
Our Sunday School for young people up to the age of 20, meets at the same time as the Sunday church service and is held in our Reading Room, located at 121 North Sequim Avenue.
Wednesday Testimony Meetings Noon to 1:00 pm
The Wednesday testimony meeting includes hymns, readings from the Bible and Science and Health, and a period during which members of the congregation can share experiences in which they have been helped and healed by their prayers and study of Christian Science.
